This chisel is designed for digging holes in structural wood.
It is suitable for making large and deep holes.
Compared to chisels used for joinery work (Oire Nomi chisels), it has a thicker blade and a larger, sturdier overall build.
(The total length is approximately 290 mm.)
It is also known as a “Tataki Nomi chisels”
